Oldonyo Lengai Mountain is found in Tanzania, just outside Ngorongoro Conservation Area into the North- East near Lake Natron. This vast volcano who's Maasai namely means Mountain of God. It is the major influence on the development of the area. It's ash dust has blown Westwards onto the plains and build shape the landscape and it's Ecology.Which enable to be the only active Volcano in the area. It is the world's famous carbonatite Volcano since 1883. Deposits ash 100 km away in Loliondo on the Kenyan border,on the Northwest. Having erupted in 1966,1983 and last erupted 2006. The Eastern horizons dominated by Mount Kilimanjaro and to the Western slope of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Elevation of Oldonyo Lengai Mountain is 2962 m above sea level.

ARRIVE AT AIRPORT/ BUS STATION, PICK UP DRIVEN TO HOTEL/ ARUSHA/ MOSHI.

DAY 1: After breakfast pick up 7:300 am,driving to Mto Wa Mmbu205km/4hrs,  to enter the Great Rift Valley escarpment,going across Embakai basin and into a semi desert area,very hot blown wind with dust with extinct Vast Volcano Kitumben also Helsinki off to the mountains of God Oldonyo Lengai always viewing in front.

Around the middle afternoon we arrive to all Fall Camp,at the banks of Engaresero Rive,a warmly welcome place for shower or bathing in the river. As well as you can trek to the waterfalls hidden in the Western hemisphere wall of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Here you can have short sleeping like 4/5hrs after dinner.,  then work up around mid night driven to the staring point and ready for start ascending to the summit of mount Oldonyo Lengai 2962 m above sea level. This will take about 4hours (pole pole) climbing.

DAY 2: Very nice time for Sunrise while you are at the summit and viewing up the Great Rift Valley escarpment as far as Kenya side.

After taking lots of pictures your Maasai guide will set a temple descending down back to camp for lunch. Afternoon driven to Lake Natron on the North east,it is the largest breeding ground in East Africa for Bird's mostly Flamingos. En-route visit Maasai Boma, village after going back to the camp site. Have dinner and overnight, Fall Camp.

DAY 3: After breakfast 8:00am,departing day,we will have ample time to visit the local tribu Makonde Wood Cavings Arts of which so famous people.

Also with the option to visit Snake park,and dularies shop(Tanzanite) the only gamestone found and mined under the ground.After proceeding to your choice of hotel. Arusha/Moshi.

NB: THIS MOUNTAIN IS STEEP WITH SANDDUST, ONE SHOULD BE HEALTHY REASONABLY FIT AND DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT.
